Tau Ceti V sector was picked up. An away team was sent on a rescue mission, but once it arrived at its destination,
there was no sign of any humans and the source of the signal remained unclear. They didn't realize something crucial,
though: they brought something back with them when they returned. Now, you--a member of the ship's security team--awake
from cryostasis to the sounds of screams of pain and horror as everything falls apart. The state-of-the-art spaceship
becomes a deathtrap, and the only hope you have is the contemptuous whisper of a voice guiding you through the dark
corridors, leading you towards the ominous secrets that lurk in the shadows.

  Instructions:1. It's a GOG version, just launch setup 2.1.0.19 and install
  2. Update with official
setup 2.1.1.20 - launch and install
  
  3. Update to 2.43 (hopefully soon official update) - extract to your
SS2 folder with compressions software (like 7-Zip - link below), overwrite if necessary (will reset your cam_ext.cfg
settings, so you might want to back that file up before patching). this is an update for those running an unmodified
version of the GOG build - do not apply if you have used ss2tool.

 Tweak your settings by editing "cam_ext.cfg" in your installation directory: enable enhancements for modern systems,
not just AA, AF, HUD scaling, FOV, limit fps, but many hardcore ones as well for modern systems!
